Case Study Saul Bass
Saul Bass was born on May 8, 1920 and passed away April 25, 1996. He was a Jewish American, graphic designer and film maker, he is best known for his design on animated motion picture titles. Saul bass studied arts student league in New York, he is a graphic Designer (Commercial Artist).
He Moved to Los Angeles in 1946 . He moved to get away from creative conservants imposed on human New York.

Saul bass is self employed and he opened his own studio, in which he worked on advertising

Saul bass is best known for his simple geometric shapes and their symbolism. Often a single dominant image which stands alone to deliver a powerful message.
Saul bass's posters and titles had an uncanny ability to capture the mood of a film with simple shapes and images. this was his preferred method as opposed to using a boring photograph of a film star.

Bass was heavily influenced by Bauhaus and Russian constructivism.
